How the 2014 Eagle Lake Fish Survey Compared to Previous Surveys and the Lake Mean by Coahran, Dave Coahran from DNR – October 21, 2015

• Largemouth Bass (LMB) – Reports indicate abundant with quality sized fish available. Our netting gear does not sample LMB well. We use electrofishing to sample LMB, but have not historically sampled Eagle. Need to start that in 2019.
• Basic Stocking Plan – Eagle gets stocked every other year with walleye fingerlings (1,096 pounds is quota, usually there is 10-30 fish to the pound depending on the ponds that year). This plan appears to be working well. No other stocking appears necessary. Next stocking scheduled for fall 2016.
